    Moorman Bassett Crumrine, 88, died April 8, 2017.

    A memorial service will be held June 10 at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Hamilton.

    Mr. Crumrine was born July 12, 1928, in San Antonio to Dora (Ahr) and E. R. Crumrine.

    He married his high school sweetheart, Joan McKenzie of San Antonio, on Dec. 30, 1950. He graduated from Texas A & M in 1951. He served in the Air Force, stationed in England, during the Korean War. He was a Master Mason and Endowed Member of the Rock House Masonic Lodge #417 AF&AM.

    Moorman had four children, James R. (Beeville), Anna Beth (San Antonio), John D. (Middletown, Delaware) and Andrew (Lubbock). His grandchildren Jena, Raymond and Nathan, and great-grandchildren, Nathan, McKenzie, Samuel and Joshua, were rich blessings for him.

    He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Earl Crumrine, a sister, Geraldine Allen, and his loving wife, Joan, of 61 years.

    He is survived by a brother, Elmer Crumrine of San Antonio; sons James R. (Susan), John D. (Michele) and Andrew and his daughter Anna Beth (Lorraine); his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Jena Halpin (Nicholas) and their sons Samuel and Joshua in Honolulu, Hawaii, Raymond Crumrine (Sarah) and their children Nathan and McKenzie (Dallas) and Nathan Canon Crumrine (Denver); and many nieces, nephews and friends.
