Marguerite Jeanne Phippen was born five days before the 1891 census - she appears in that census as 'New born child Phippen', her parents clearly having not decided a name for her yet. Her parents were a coachman named Robert George Phippen and his second wife Mary Rice. Sadly, Marguerite died as a baby, followed by her father Robert the following year, aged only 33.
