Shortsville residents were saddened on Sunday night when new became known that Mrs. Margaret C. Crumrine , relict of William M. Crumrine had passed away at her home in West Main street, following an extended illness. She was aged 80 years.

Mrs. Crumrine was a native of Altmar, this state, where she was born on June 6, 1857. Early in life she moved with her parents to Ohio, where she resided until 1912 when, in company with her husband, she located in Shortsville. She had since made her home here. She was married to Mr. Crumrine of Salem, Ohio, in 1883, and his death occurred in this village about four years ago.
