OBITUARY....LAURA M. KELLOGG COLES
Laura M. Kellogg, daughter of Elijah and Sarah Kellogg, was born in Crawford County, Illinois on June 10, 1875 and passed away at her home in Vici, April 9, 1948 at the age of 72 years, 9 months, 29 days.
At the age of two years, she with her parents moved to Glasso, Kansas where she grew to womanhood.
On October 27, 1891, she was married to J. W. Coles. Later in 1895 the couple moved to Oklahoma and homesteaded two miles South of old Beement, where their six children were born. They are: Lee Coles and Blanche Hart of Vici, Fred Coles of Richmond, California, and Marie Foster of Denver, Colorado. One son, Ira, and one daughter, Effie, preceded her in death, each at the age of 14 years. One sister, Mrs. Lizzie Ausman, passed away in 1938.
Mrs. Coles was converted and baptised in the Church of God in April 1914.
She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband of the home, four children, six grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. She also leaves one brother, John Kellogg of Glasso, Kansas, other relatives and many friends.

Mr. and Mrs. Albert Withington, Mr. and Mrs. John Kellogg, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Kellogg, Mr. Johnnie Kellogg, Jr., and Mr. and Mrs. Claude Kellogg attended the funeral of Mrs. Wm. Coles at Vici, Okla. Sunday. Mrs. Coles was a sister of Mr. John Kellogg.

3.Frederic Burr Cole was born 6 Sep 1899 in Beemont, Dewey Co., Oklahoma, and died 1954. He married Nona. She was born BET 1905 AND 1906 in Oklahoma.
4.Ira Dee Coles: 15 Jan 1901 in Beemont, Dewey Co., Oklahoma-Feb 1915 in Dewey Co., Oklahoma.
5.Sarah Blanche Coles Hart: 9 Apr 1904 in Beemont, Dewey Co., Oklahoma, and died 9 Aug 1984.
6.Marie Coles Foster: Beemont, Dewey Co., Oklahoma, and died in Colorado?.
