    Larry J. Hoss Arand Belvue Larry J. Hoss Arand, 70, passed away Monday, November 10, 2014 at his home in Belvue. He was born March 21, 1944 at Wamego, the son of Lyle C. and Ruth Ross Arand. He grew up in the Greenwood community and graduated from Wamego High School. Hoss was a truck driver and had driven for Ralph Burton and Becker & Sons out of Frankfort and then for Eugene Prockish out of Louisville. He later farmed full time. Mr. Arand was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his brother, Ron (Silke) Arand, Wamego; his sister, Carolyn Arand, Manhattan; and three nephews. Graveside services will be at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, November 15, 2014 at the Greenwood Cemetery near Belvue. Memorial contributions may be given to the American Diabetes Association and sent in care of Piper Funeral Home, 714 Maple St., St. Marys, Kansas 66536.
