Kenneth E. Dubbs, 75, died at 3:30 a.m. on Thursday, January 26, 2006, at his home.
He was the husband of Charlotte L. (Meckley) Dubbs. The couple celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary on January 29, 2005.
He was born June 30, 1930, in North Codorus Township, a son of the late Richard E. and Alice (Bollinger) Dubbs.
Kenneth had 40 years of service as a signalman with railroad companies, last working for Amtrak.
He attended Calvary Bible Church, Hanover, and was a member of AARP, Jefferson. In addition to his wife,
Kenneth is survived by four daughters, Judy A. Chronister of Spring Grove, Debra K. Zeigler of Seven Valleys, Tammie M. Godfrey of Felton, and Sandra J. Reycroft of Ft. Myers, Fla.; a son, Terry L. Dubbs of New Freedom; 11 grandchildren; and a sister, Anna Mae Foreman of Spring Grove.
He was preceded in death by a son, Jonnie A. Dubbs.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, January 30, and the viewings 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday and 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Monday, at Robert E. Irwin Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 175 N. Main St., Spring Grove.
Burial will follow in St. Peter's "Lischey's" Cemetery. Officiating will be Pastor Clair Shorb.
