WILD ROSE NEWS ITEMS Kay Zeller spent the holidays with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Zeller, after being hospitalized for some time in Chicago. WILD ROSE - Key Zeller, a sophomore at Wild Rose High School and daughter of Mr. And Mrs. Carl Zeller, Almond, will compete in a radio music show on WGN, Chicago, Sunday from 11 to 12 a.m. She just recently returned from the three-week music clinic at the University of Wisconsin, for which she was awarded a scholarship from the Wild Rose Lions Club. WILD ROSE MUSICIANS GET SIX 1sts WILD ROSE - Girl band members at Wild Rose High School won top ratings in district music contests. Six of the all-girl entries were rated tops in their classes. A Sophomore who is majoring in radio-television, Miss Zeller received honorable mention for academic achievement at the Milwaukee school. KAY ZELLER IN MU HONOR GROUP Kay Zeller, Almond, was recently initiated into Phi Sigma Tau, nation philosophy honor society, at Marquette University in Milwaukee. Zeller, Almond, has been awarded a Marquette University Scholarship for the 1963-64 school year. Kay Z. Harris Kay Z. Harris, 60, New Orleans, died at her home Wednesday, July 11, 2001. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. today at Holly Funeral Home, Wild Rose. Burial will take place in St. Martin's Cemetery, Town of Almond. Visitation will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. today at the funeral home. Kay was born June 23, 1941, in Berlin, the daughter of Clara (Olson) Zeller, Wild Rose, and the late Carl Zeller. She was married to George A. Harris in 1969. He preceded her in death on March 26, 1988. Kay worked as an advertising copywriter in Milwaukee and Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and as an information officer for the federal government.
