Information on John Peatross, Jr.

John Peatross, Jr., son of John and Ann Peatross, born sometime before 1715, lived in Caroline County. It is uncertain which of the references in the order books are for this man and which are for his father. He died intestate in 1749. His estate was settled in 1751 by William Taliaferro, Gent., and Bennett Beasley. [Source: "Petry, Pettry, Petrey, Pettry, and Allied Families", by D. L. Petry, 1989].
