    LOUGHNER
    John I. Loughner, 74, Evans City RD 1, formerly of Irwin, was dead on arrival Sunday at Pittsburgh's Passavant Hospital after suffering a heart attack while shoveling snow. He was born December 19, 1891, the son of the late Jacob and Sarah Klingensmith Loughner. He had been a resident of Evans City for the past 10 years where he owned and operated Lincoln Park Motel. He was a retired Westinghouse Electric Corp. employee, retiring in 1957, and was a member of Westinghouse Electric Corp. Veterans Association. He is survived by his wife, Caroline L Woleslagle Loughner, and one daughter, Mrs. Esther Brown, RD 5 Irwin. He is also survived by 4 stepchildren, Mrs. Lois McClure, Larimer; Mrs. Carol Barkley, Evans City RD2, Clyde Kuhns, Evans City RD 1; two grandchildren, one great grandchild, 12 step grandchildren, and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Minnie Frye, Shawtown; Mrs. Myrtle Smith, Manor; Mrs. Margaret Harrington, Sheridan Terrace, and Harry, Manor. Friends will be received at Snyder funeral home, 521 Main St., Irwin, 2-5 and 7-10 PM daily, starting at 7 this evening. Services will be held at the funeral home at 1 PM Wednesday with Rev. Delbert Remaley officiating. Interment will follow in Irwin Union Cemetery.
