John appears to have left parish around 1767. Also, may have immigrated with his daughter & son-in-law at any rate heis buried in the cemetery of the Scotch church in Florida Twp.

John Adair was the first one buried in the churchyard. Children are all buried in a country cemetery in Florida Twp., Montg. Co.opposite the McDougall(?) farm house near Pattersonville (R.55?) - 7miles east of Amsterdam. This cemetery is near the 'Rum' church whichAndrew is said to have built for $80 and a keg of rum. Also called the Scitch church.
