1778 - Henry Stonesfifer and wife Mary and John & his wife Jemmina 15th June 1778, sold 100 acres in Culpeper to James Newman. Their neighbors were Newmans, Huffmans, Manspiles. The Schmidt/Smith family was not that distant.

Campbell county, Kentucky records:

1821 - John Stanesiffer gave 50 acres to his son in law Elijah Yeager and Jemima S Yeager on Banklick Creek. Campbell County records, Alexandria, Book F, p 92.
