Jetze Louws' (John) occupation here in the US was Cement Finishing. He actually started a paving business, J. Sinnema & Sons, and poured the concrete floors for many of the Steel Mill's blast furnaces as well as many streets, sidewalks, driveways, basement floors etc in the Cleveland area – He and son Martin also poured the foundation for the Terminal Tower. As grandpa aged, his son Martin (Uncle Marty) became the owner/operator of the paving business and ran it until he retired .
