- Vol. 2 - Page 120--James Telford deposes, ditto (deposes at Brownsburg, July, 1805), aged 42, son of Alexr. Telford, to whom 40 acres were conveyed, and who was a stone mason. ‘‘(Note: this establishes James Telford’s birthdate as abt. 1763).’’
- Vol. 2 - Page ___--James Telford, aged 42, deposes, ditto ‘‘(deposes, 15th July, 1805)’’. Son of Alexr. Telford.
- Vol. 2 – Marriage Bond in Augusta County - 1790--March 19, Joseph McCoskey and Martha Gillaspy, daughter of John Galaspy (consent); witnesses, Saml. Bleak, John Thompson; surety, James Telford.
