Facts and Events
Name James Forsey
Gender Male
Marriage 14 May 1758 Crewkerne, Somerset, Englandto Ann Sibley

James Forsey's origins have yet to be established. It seems plausible that he was the James Forsey baptised on 27th December 1727 at Winsham in Somerset, but a named connection linking the adult to this child has yet to be found.

James was married on 14th May 1758 at Crewkerne to Ann Sibley. Their marriage describes James as being of Winsham. They settled in Winsham after their marriage, having seven children baptised there between 1760 and 1780.

James has yet to be traced after the baptism of his youngest child in 1780. One possibility is that he was the James Forsey buried at Winsham in 1789, but as there appear to have been at least three James Forseys who had been living in Winsham before then (this James, his son, and the father of the James baptised in 1727) making it hard to say which of them that burial relates to.
