    Albert Forbes 78, of Dickerson Lane, Madisonville, died at 11:18 a.m. Sunday, July 23, 1995, at Regional Medical Center.

    Born Oct. 1, 1916, in McLean County, he was the son of the late Tom Forbes and Florence Durbin Forbes.

    He was a farmer

    He was preceded in death by one daughter and one son.

    He is survivied by his wife, Bessie Mae Burden Forbes, of Madisonville; one daughter, Mrs. Joyce Cates of Anton; three sons, James H. Forbes of Madisonville, Floyd Ray Forbes of Angleton, Texas, and Terry L. Forbes of Slaughters; three sisters, Mrs Opal Rich, Mrs Fairy Hendricks, and Mrs Luella Burden, all of Madisonville; 16 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

    Services will be 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Rev. Amos Kirkwood officiating. Burial will be in West Lawn Cemetary, Hanson.

    Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today and after 8 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
