Identity

She was called Isabella Todd or Isabel Minor Todd[2]. The latter version of her name suggests that she was born a Minor (to parents unknown) and married an unknown Todd before marrying John Madison. There was speculation that she was the daughter of Capt. Thomas Todd and Anne Gorsuch, but this is now considered to be "unlikely"[2].
