    Humphrey Howland, Draper, settled in St. Swithin's Parish, proved by second wife Anne -- names brothers: Arthur, John & Henry; sister Margaret wife of Richard Phillips of Fenstanton, shoemaker; "nephew" Simon Howand & "niece" Hannah Howland, Simon's sister.

  2.   Another brother, George Howland, merchant of St. Dunstan's, East London, d. 10 Feb 1643/4; estate adminstered by Anne Howland, wife of Humphrey 11 Jul 1646.
  3.   Simon Howland bp. Fenstanton 19 Aug 1604 as son of Henrye & probably the one apprenticed 19 Mar 1622 to Humphrey Howland "citizen & draper of London."

    Henry Howland youngest brother of John was apprenticed to brother Humphrey Howland and name is found there on Roll of the Draper's Co. 1 Oct 1623 -- but taxed in Plymouth 25 Mar 1633.
