HELENA BRANT was born on 21 Jul 1838 at Prussia. She immigrated in 1854.

HELENA married FRANZ SCHULTE on 1 Jul 1858 at Wayne County, Michigan, at the age of 19. They had three children, one girl and two boys. She and FRANZ SCHULTE appeared on the census of 1860 at Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan. Helena remarried around 1868. Franz Schulte died sometime after the birth of youngest son John in 1865.

HELENA married CARL (CHARLES) RINKE, son of CHRISTOPH RINKE and CHRISTINE KUHN, on 21 Apr 1868 at Wayne County, Michigan, at the age of 29. They had seven children together, three girls and four boys. They also raised the three children from Helena's earlier marriage. She and CARL (CHARLES) RINKE appeared on the census of 1880 at Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan. She and CARL (CHARLES) RINKE appeared on the census of 1900 at Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan.

She died on 11 Nov 1900, probably at Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan, at age 62. She was buried at Mt. Elliot Cemetery, Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan.
