The Rev. Haute Wyatt 1596-1638 was the son of Jane Finch and Sir George Wyatt of Boxley Hall, CO Kent, England. He was the grandson of Jane Haute and Sir Thomas Wyatt, "the Younger" [1][2] of Allington, Kent CO, England and great-grandson of poet Thomas wyatt the elder.[[3]] The Rev. Haute graduated from Oxford College and was soon after ordained as a minister of the Church of England (Episcopal).In 1619 he came to Jamestown, VA and remained there until 1625. Here he served as chaplain for his brother, Sir Francis Wyatt, the governor of Virginia. He returned to England as vicar of Boxley Parish Church where he died and is buried beneath the chancel. His children all returned to Virginia. The Rev. Haute Wyatt married first Barbara Eliza Mitford and by her he had three children. Came to Virginia Nov. 18, 1621 on the "George" and served as Rector of the church of Jamestown, James City CO. VA 1621-25. 1625 returned to England and was Vicar of Merston and Boxley Parishes which he served until his death. He is a gateway ancestor and his lines can be traced to King Edward, III.[[4]] BIRTH: Date Calculated> Age being 17 years in 1611 (matriculation year).
