Source: STEVENS POINT DAILY JOURNAL, Stevens Point, Wisconsin; March 13, 1935. EARL OLSON Earl Olson, 89, formerly of Almond, died Tuesday at the Wild Rose Manor. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the United Methodist Church in Almond. The Rev. Lester Ott will officiate. Burial will be in St. Martin's Catholic Cemetery in the Town of Almond. Mr. Olson was born Feb. 22, 1897, in the Town of Rose, son of the late Carl and Mary Olson. He was married to Emily Fawley on October 12, 1974, in Plainfield. She survives. He worked as a farmer in the Almond area for many years. He also worked in Milwaukee for a time as an electrician for American Motors Corp. Survivors, besides his wife, include on son, Robert Andrews, Stevens Point; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Clara Lee, Almond.
