IT DOES NOT SEEM LIKELY THAT LUCINDA IS GEORGE'S MOTHER. SHE WAS 50 YEARS OLD WHEN HE WAS BORN. Maybe William H. H. Layton or John Oliver Layton is his father instead of John S. Layton? Could George H. Layton have been adopted?
