Info that I have regarding GEORGE S. BOTSFORD.I have two George S. Botsford both born 1879 and lived in Seattle area. One is son of Alonzo Botsford and Sarah Esther (Whitney) b. 1879 he mar. Edith Lawrence. Had 4 ch. George Sherwood b. 1905, James Lawrence 1906, Walter Sewall 1909. Elizabeth 1916 all born in Seattle. This George is to be part of our Henry Line Gen. (I have a copy only of the orig letter written 1909 by George S. Botsford giving this family data. The second George S. b. 1879 Sandwich Ill. m. FRANCES D. "Daisy" HOUT, son of David L. Botsford and Mary (Sherwood). David and Mary had grocery and Ice Creamery and restaurants in Seattle. Funeral Home (name?) states he was 93 at time of death. An Alberta (Botsford?) Brown (given as her married surname for her lst mar., b. 1929 or 1930. She came to Seattle in 1952 to stay with relatives. Her last name and address were Brown and 8824 Bothell Way, Seattle. That address belonged to George Sherwood Botsford about 71 at that time. lived in Seattle area until his death 1972. I do not know where this George belongs in our genealogy. It has been very confusing over the years to have 2 George S. Botsfords born same year and living in Seattle. If I can be of any further help let me know at botsy@@optonline.net.
