In the 1841, Frances is living with her four children, Thomas, William, Harry and Frances. There is no listing for her husband, Thomas Elias, although he is recorded as being in Warwickshire in the same census year, possible with his mother Elizabeth and brothers Robert and Job. In the 1851 census she appears as "Fanny" and is a visitor in Greenfield Road, still with the occupation of brace maker (S2).
