Farmer There are a few Francis Dixons in the Civil War out of Illinois.. one of them is not him, because there is a document saying Francis Dixon, alias for Joseph F Dixon. He was in Regiment 2 Light Artillery out of Illinois. There's another Francis Marion Dixon out of Virgina that died in the war, 52nd Regiment.
