 In the 1880 census for Ottawa, Franklin Co., Kansas, F. A. Beeler is a carpenter, age 45 from Maryland (parents Maryland).  His wife E. E. is 48, born Pennsylvania (parents Pennsylvania).  Their children are W. L., 20; G. L., 18; and Ida, 16 -- all born Illinois, father Maryland, mother Pennsylvania. {p.111b}

 In the 1900 census for Hoquiam, Chehalis Co., Washington, William L. Beeler is 40, 'salesman - furniture', with wife and children (born Kansas); in the 1910 census for Tacoma, Pierce Co., Washington, son William L. Beeler, 50 IL, is a carpenter with family; in 1920 he is a 'motorman - street railway' and his wife Florence A. is 'writer - mag and books'.
