Elizabeth was the daughter of David Paisley and Sarah Hanna Marquis. She married Jonathan Longbottom in 1870.
“Washingtonville - Mrs. Elizabeth Longbottom, 79, most of her life a resident of this place, died last Thursday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Cecil Wallace, in Lisbon. She leaves three other daughters. Her husband, Jonathan Longbottom, died seven weeks ago. Her funeral was held from the Methodist church Sunday afternoon in charge of Rev. R. A. Anderson. Burial in Washingtonville cemetery.”
