Col. ELIJAH McClanahan- born April 20, 1770; I— married September 3, 1795, Agatha Strother Lewis, daughter of Colonel Andrew Lewis, who then lived on Bent Mountain; offspring, twelve children. Colonel Andrew Lewis was fourth son of General Andrew Lewis.
