Rutledge, Edward, born 10 March 1762; entered service 1781 in Augusta County, Virginia, in Virginia regiment; received Pension 1832 in Montgomery County, Virginia per witnesses Thomas & Hugh Gibson, per County Court Clerk Rice D. Montague; query letter in file says soldier died 1853 & is buried in Bristol, Tennessee (Note: needs research, appears unlikely). F-S6032, R2106.
