Biographical data of Ebenezer Seaver was published in the book "Biographical Review: This Volume Contains Biographical Sketches of Leading Citizens of Cumberland County, Maine," published by the Biographical Review Publishing Company, Boston, 1896. The biography of Melville C. Stone is presented on page 113. Part of it reads:

"He married Abigail Seaver, a daughter of Ebenezer Seaver, her father being also a soldier in the War of 1812, and a pioneer of Cumberland County, where he took up one hundred and sixty acres of wild land, from which he redeemed a farm.

In the 1830 United States Census, Ebenezer Seaver was a head of household residing in Bridgton, Cumberland County, Maine. The household included one free white male aged 15 to 20, one free white male aged 40 to 50, one free white female under age 5, one free white female aged 10 to 15, one free white female aged 15 to 20 and one free white female aged 20 to 30 (1830 United States Census, Cumberland County, Maine, Population Schedule, Bridgton, Page 174, FHL Microfilm 0,009,700).

In the 1840 United States Census, Ebenezer Seaver was a head of household residing in Bridgton township, Cumberland County, Maine. The household included two males aged 20 to 30, one male aged 50 to 60, one female aged 20 to 30 and one female aged 40 to 50 ( 1840 United States Census, Cumberland County, Maine, Population Schedule, Bridgton, Page 508, FHL Microfilm 0,009,702).
