  2. ↑ It is not proven that Ebenezer of Norwich/Groton CTwas identical with Ebenezer of Scituate, but the onomastic evidence is rather compelling since Ebenezer of CT's first two children were given the names of the parents of Ebenezer of Scituate, and a daughter, Jerusha, was given the same name as one of the daughters of the Scituate couple.
