Born in Hartwick, Mr. Bryant lived in Liverpool for four years. He retired in 1983 after 25 years as a registered nurse with Wassaic State Hospital. After retiring, he was a bus driver for many years with Dutchess County Loop Bus Service. He was a Corporal in the Army in World War II and the Korean War. Surviving are a son, Christopher L. of Harrisonburg, VA; two daughters, Kathy Pelkey of Pennellville and Moncia Matychak; two brothers Maynard of Harriman and Lindsey Eggers of Wassaic; three grandchildren; a niece; and a nephew. Services are 8 p.m. today at Maurer Funeral Home, Liverpool. Burial is in Hartwick Cemetery at a later date. Calling hours are 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home, 300 Second st.
