David Denton Tullis, 48, died Wednesday, March 17, 1999 in Breckenridge, Texas. Funeral services were held Saturday, March 20 at First United Methodist Church in Albany, Texas with the Revs. Douglas Stenberg and Carl Shroyer officiating. Burial was in Albany Cemetery under the direction of Godfrey-Neese Funeral Home.

Mr. Tullis was born January 20, 1951 in Spur, Texas and married Enola Gay Buerger, formerly of Albany, January 19, 1974 in Snyder, Texas. He was a member of First United Methodist Church.

Mr. Tullis graduated from Snyder High School in 1969 and had an associate degree from South Plains College. He served in the U.S. Navy. He was a volunteer fireman in Brownwood, Texas and Snyder. He worked for J & J Air Conditioning in Eastland, Texas.

Survivors include his wife; one son, Walter Denton Tullis; one daughter, Jennifer Renee Tullis; three sisters, Cynthia Bryant, Bonnie Tullis, & Mary Woolsey; and two brothers, Roger Tullis & Tommy Tullis. He was preceded in death by his parents, Duward Denton Tullis & Corene LaVerne Tullis, and one sister, Laverne Tullis.

Pallbearers were Marvin Dawson, Waymouth Roberts, Calvin Bradford, Eddie Medford, Charlie Hipp, and Andy Anderson.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, the American Heart Association, or to any other charity.
