Clara J. Theis

Clara J. Theis, 94, of 23 N. Perry St., New Riegel, died Friday morning, J an. 21, 2005, at St. Catherine's Care Center in Fostoria.

She was born April 6, 1910, in rural New Riegel, to the late Wm F. a nd Mary L. (Huss) Theis. Ms. Theis is survived by two nephews, Dennis A. Theis and Leonard W. The is and several great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Wilfred C. Theis; nep hew, Lawrence W. Theis and a niece, Janice Theis.

Clara graduated from New Riegel High School in 1927, worked as a telepho ne operator for 10 years with New Riegel Mutual Telephone. She was a memb er at St. Boniface Catholic Church and its Rosary Altar Society, St. Franc is Auxiliary and Senior Citizens of Tiffin.

A funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 24, 2005, at St. Boniface C atholic Church with the Rev. Ronald A. Schock officiating. Burial will fol low in the parish cemetery.

Visitation will be 2-6 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 23, 2005, at Hoffmann-Gottfried-M ack Funeral Home in Tiffin.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Boniface Catholic Church.
