ZELLER - OLSON Announcement is made of the marriage of Miss Clara Olson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Olson of Almond vicinity, and Carl Zeller of Chicago. The ceremony took place Thursday, April 30, at the Guardian Angels Church at Almond. Rev. Edward Horyza officiated, and the attendants were Miss LaVerne Helbach of Appleton and Harry Swendryzinski of Detroit. Mrs. F. B. Young played the wedding march. The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a white satin gown with a lace yoke, a veil with a bonnet headdress and white crepe sandals. She carried white roses and sweet peas. Her bridesmaid wore a blue taffeta floor length gown, a blue net hat and blue tinted sandals, and carried yellow roses. After a 1 o'clock luncheon served at the Olson home for relatives and intimate friends, the bride and groom left for Chicago. They will be at home on the Olson farm near Almond after May 5. Lee, 98, of Silver Lake Manor in Almond, formerly of Almond, passed away Friday, March 26, 2004, at Wild Rose Community Memorial Hospital, Wild Rose (Wisconsin). Clara was born in the Town of Rose, on July 10, 1905, to the late Carl Joseph and Mary (Claire) Olson. She was married to Carl Zeller on April 30, 1936. He preceded her in death in 1968. She later was married to Lawrence Lee. He preceded her in death in 1988. Clara and her husband (Carl Zeller) operated a farm on Highway B in the Town of Rose for many years. She later worked at the James Burns Farms in Almond. She is survived by a son-in-law, Ray Hoffman, Butler, Pennsylvania; grandsons, David Carl Hoffman, Trenton, New Jersey, and Jeffrey Walter Hoffman, Austin, Texas; and a nephew, Robert Andrews, Stevens Point, Clara was preceded in death by two daughters, Patricia Hoffman and Kay Harris; two brothers and two sisters. The funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m.. Thursday (May 13, 2004) at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Plain field, Burial will take place in St. Martin's Catholic Cemetery in the Town of Buena Vista. Visitation will be held an hour prior to the Mass Thursday at the church. Hardell-Holly Funeral Home of Almond assisted the family with arrangements.
