    Death came Wednesday evening at 11:45 p.m. to Charles T. Ludwick, 78, of North Plains, longtime resident of the township and for 35 years superintendent of the Matherton United Brethren church Sunday school.

    Surviving are the wife, Jessie, two daughters, Mrs. Beulah Myers of North Plains township and Mrs. Grace Hartman of Gladwin, a brother, James Ludwick of Muskegon and three grandchildren.

    Mr. Ludwick was born in North Plains and married Jessie Stoudt on December 24, 1895. Services are to be conducted Saturday at 3:30 p.m. at the North Plains church with burial in the North Plains cemetery. The Rev. F. R. Town will officiate.
