Charles Day was baptised on 16th September 1849 at Offley in Hertfordshire, son of Susannah Day, formerly Moles, and her husband John Day.

On 11th February 1871, aged 21, Charles married Ann Chapman. A few weeks after their marriage, the 1871 census finds the couple living with Charles's mother and sister in Offley.

Charles has yet to be researched after 1871.
