Betty J. McGrail January 25, 1924 August 23, 2016 Betty Jane McGrail, 92, of Pleasant Gap, passed away August 23, 2016, at home. Born on November 25, 1924, in Potters Mills, the daughter of Bruce and Florence (Neil) Krumrine. She was married to Francis A. "Fritz" McGrail Sr. who preceded her in death February 7, 1994. She was a graduate of State College High School. Betty worked at the Penn State University for The Navy R.O.T.C. program until her retirement. She and her husband operated McGrails Inn in Pleasant Gap from 1946 until 1963. Betty is survived two children, Margaret Ann McGrail, of Maryland, and Francis A. Jr. "Fritz" Mc Grail (Lois), of Hublersburg; five grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Robert, James and Richard Krumrine. A public viewing will be held on Friday, August 26, 2016, from 1-2 p.m., at Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc., 206 N. Spring Street, Bellefonte, with funeral services to immediately follow visitation at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Pine Hall Cemetery, Ferguson Township.
