    "… Bethiah Howes, who was born in Yarmouth about 1680, the daughter of Jeremiah & Sarah (Prence) Howes. … Bethiah was named as one of the executors of Joseph Lord's will, dated 7 March 1746/7, proved 30 June 1748. Bethiah died in Chatham before 7 July 1748, the date her son, John Hawes, was named administrator of what was left of the estate of his fath3r, Isaac Hawes, who had died in 1730/1."
