- ↑ As of this date unsubstantieated reports indicated that Benedict was sired by Mary's Uncle. The name of the Uncle is unknown at this time, however he may be from the Steinbacher side. Informant reports indicate that the individual "left town" and was never heard of or seen again. The family was said to "be ready to kill him" if he returned. Benedict was said to pine away for his mother after her death by drowning, constantly asking where she was. The family later said that he missed her so much that one day he fell asleep and never awoke.
