A 'bastard bond' was issued in Green Co., KY on 23 March 1840 charging Bartholomew Gaddie (son of Francis) as being the father of illegitimate twin boys bore by Anne on 8 March 1840. Evidently the twin boys that were born out of wedlock, and she claimed Bartholomew Gaddie was the father (according to the Rhoton to Abshier email of March 2003).
