  • 19 December 1752, Frederick Co., Virginia Will Book 2, Page 114. - Andrew Vance devises as follows: To his three sons, Samuel, Andrew & Alexander Vance all his lands; A part to his wife Jane Vance; to his son John Vance, 5 shillings, no more, no less; wife the home and five acres till her death then to his three sons. Signed the mark of Andrew Vance, in the presence of Thomas Builer, John Cook and William Huston.

Sons: James, Andrew and Alexander Vance, to receive all lands, except wife Jan's [sic, Jane's] part.
