- Martin, Adam - born 9/28/1755; entered service in Augusta County, Virginia, where resided; died 4/14/1835 in St. Louis County, Missouri; married 3/16/1778 Mary McMillin, who was born 3/16/1762; widow died 4/16/1850 St. Louis county, Missouri; children's births: Jane 8/30/1780 (died 4/23/1814), David 9/28/1782, Mary M. 9/1/1784, Nancy A. 10/1/1787 (married Mr. Musick & died 6/27/1814), Elizabeth 2/20/1790, Jehoida/Jehoada P. 4/24/1794 (died 11/22/1844), Jonathan P. 11/27/1799 & Robert N. 5/8/1804; son Lewis applied for pension 1852 in St. Louis County, Missouri for self, surviving siblings: Elizabeth Whitley (AKA Elizabeth Hall), Mary Hilderbrand, David, Jonathan & Robert N.; children's pension application rejected, insufficient proof of service.
