HENRY PEARCE 1729-1786<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> This is the last Will and Testament me Henry Pearce of Lassington in the County of Gloucester Yeoman for the Disposal of that Estate in the world with which it hath pleased God to bless me. First I order and Direct that all my debts and funeral expenses shall be fully paid and charged and chargeable therewith. I give and devise unto my dear wife all my messuages Lands Tenements and Real Estates to hold to her Heirs and Assigns for her provided she shall continue my widow and upon that condition I give her all my Goods and Chattels and Personal Estate. But in case my said wife shall think fit to marry again after my decease then and there upon I devise my said real Estate to her and my daughters Hannah, wife of John Drinkwater and Elizabeth Pearce their Heirs and Assigns as Tenants in Common. Also in that case I give to my said wife and daughters all my Personal Estate equally, my Daughter Drinkwater paying out of her part thereof two thirds back of the sum of Fifty pounds which I have already given to her said husband. And I hereby Revoking all former Wills by me at any time made I constitute and appoint my said Wife sole Executor of this my last will and Testament in writing whereof I have hereto set my hand and seal the twenty ninth Day of March one thousand seven hundred and eighty two.
