Church Worker and Organizer of Garfield Mission Dies at Home, Auburn Street; Member of Lodges.

Services for John T. Moore, 56 years old, 804 Auburn Street, will be held Thursday afternoon at two o'clock at the residence and at 2:30 o'clock at the Methodist Protestant church. Rev. I.M. McVey will officiate.

Mr. Moore, a widely known resident and one of the organizers of the Garfield Mission, died yesterday morning at two o'clock. He was an active member of the Junior Order and the Daughters of America and these groups will hold their rites tomorrow night at the residence.

Always interested in religious and civic affairs, Mr. Moore enjoyed a wide acquaintanceship in the city. He was for several years the teacher of the Otterbein Sunday School class of the Methodist Protestant church, besides his active lodge work and his activity at the mission.

Mr. Moore was born in Morgan County, Ky., February 9, 1875. In December 1896 he wasmarried to Elizabeth Barker and eight children were born, one of whom died in infancy. The family moved to Middletown in 1905.

Surviving him are the following children: Mrs. Ray Duhamel of Middletown; Mrs. Howard Butler of Dayton; Mrs. Samuel Houser of Middletown; Mrs. Wiburn Bybee, Kysemantown, Ky.; Earl Moore of Middletown; Mrs. Abner Smith of Middletown, and Dorothy, at home, besides the widow,12 grandchildren and six brothers, Joseph and Everett of Kentucky; Luther of Dayton; Curtis of Louisiana, andKelly and Bascom of Middletown.

Burial is to be made in Woodside cemetery.
