Revolutionary War Pension Application. John Edmonson, SC Line. Soldier was born 13 Feb 1761 or 1762 in Rockbridge Co. VA and lived in Abbeville County at time of enlistment and during the war then moved to the Nolichucky River in Tennessee then moved to Blount County Tennessee then to Lincoln County Tennessee and then to Jackson County Alabama where he applied for pension 27 Nov 1833. In 1835 soldier was living in Fulton Co. IL and referred to his wife and 2 grandchildren but not by name.
