Were these parents over 100 years old when their son Gerrolt was born?

They would be even older than Abraham and Sarah when Isaac was born 8-).

Must be the case.

I simply merged 2 trees, no birthcertificates known from these people, so most dates will be estimated indead.--cabrioot 17:13, 19 February 2015 (UTC)

You should clean-up obvious errors whenever you do a merge.

I checked the website of Simon Wierstra - he has made very well sourced research on Frisian nobility. I changed his approx. birth year in 1400, could be even up to 1415.--Klaas 09:31, 20 February 2015 (UTC)

There are other problems if you chase-down other branches of his offspring. Too many estimated dates do not stack-up correctly. Given alternating given names/patronymic names, I think that not all of these are properly linked to the right generations. Whether or not this is the result of the merge I do not know.
