I've got a lot of info to add..been busy searching. How do I add a second spouse? and more Emil d had a son Frank..from his marraige with Mollie/mary Hardman. divorced? Emil D went with his brother Louis to montana homesteading. He had a big ranch. He had a photography shop there...I found that he was listed as one of Montana's outstanding photographers historically.There was a murder on his ranch...big federal case. The victims were discovered on his land.This may have been the reason for second divorce and leaving Montana for Seattle WA? Emil D married Blanche O McCloud in Bozeman, Montana 18 june 1889 divorced 9/24/1917 (Lewis and Clark County, Montana). They had two daughters:Bessie and Josephine

I found his grave..in portland oregon Burial: Rose City Cemetery Portland Multnomah County Oregon, USA

Where to begin....?

I also found our how Julius died..he was 10-11 years old and was stealing apples from an orchard and fell from the tree. i found the newspaper article gruesome by today's standards. He was a student at St paul's Catholic school,Fort Wayne IN and that is where he is buried.
