    Fam. 2. Thomas2 (John1), was a tanner, and res. in W., east of the Great River; m. Hannah Grant [prob. dau. of Matthew7, and an heir of her bro. Daniel, who d. 1740. She inherited one-third part of land in Poq., laid out to Daniel Grant's heirs; the other heirs seem to be Mary Loomis, Jr., and heirs of David Bissell (who m. Sarah Grant, who d. 1763); deeds dated 1761. - F.T.S.] "Ins. [Ensign] Thomas" d. 17 July, 1767. - E.W.O. Wid. Hannah d. 17 Sept., 1767. He was made Ensign of the North Company or trainband on east side Conn. River, May, 1737.
