5 Dec 1840; Sarah (x) Bennett widow in community of Reuben Bennett late of the Parish of St Tammany deceased, respectfully represents that her said husband the said Reuben Bennett has departed this life intestate leaving petitioner in community and various forced heirs born of his marriage with petitioner all of whom are of lawful age with the exception of the following, viz. Thadeus, Louisa and Daniel who are minors, that petitioner is the natural tutor of the said minor children; wherefore petitioner prays that she be confirmed and sworn as the natural tutor of her said minor children that an under tutor be appointed and petitioner as &c.
