In abt 1764, Mercer Brown of Loudoun County, VA married Sarah (Piggott?). He was a Quaker and the marriage had him disowned. The couple was later reinstated and the children were raised Quaker. I have a lot of the information on him from Quaker records of Nottingham, MD, Loudoun county, Georgia and Ohio.
